The DELE Diploma
The DELE diploma (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the only official diploma with international recognition to test the knowledge of the language. It belongs to the most reputable qualification of the Spanish language in the world.
The exams are organized by the Cervantes Institute with guidance from the University of Salamanca (Spain). More than 30'000 candidates register year after year to the DELE exam.
The diploma can be prepared at all levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
The 3 most popular exams are the following:
B1 (before Initial)
Corresponds to level B1 of the European Reference Framework.
Basic knowledge that allows an elementary understanding.
B2 (before Intermediate)
Corresponds to level B2 of the European Reference Framework. Elementary knowledge to communicate fluently in everyday situations.
C2 (formerly Superior)
Corresponds to level C2 of the European Reference Framework. Advanced knowledge of the language and Castilian culture to communicate at a higher level.
The exams take place in April, May, July, October and November, being taken in more than 300 cities (including Buenos Aires) and 70 countries in the world. In this way, you can finish the official exam in Buenos Aires or retrieve it in your country of origin.
The exams consist of the following 5 tests:

• Written expression
• Auditive comprehension
• Gramatic and vocabulary
