1. General
On formalising your registration for a course and an accomodation (if applicable) you accept the terms & conditions of CHE Buenos Aires, which you have received and read beforehand.

2. Location of Course
If not stated otherwise in the invoice courses take place in the building provided by CHE Buenos Aires.

3. Minimum Age
The minimum age for registration at CHE Buenos Aires is 18 years.

4. Class size and realisation of courses
4.1 All group courses are conducted with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 students. Course places are allocated according to the order of enrolment (subject to due payment).
4.2 Should there be less than than 3 students for a group course, the course will be conducted as a group of two or as an individual class. The number of lessons per week as well as prices for the corresponding courses established by CHE Buenos Aires apply in this case.

5. Holidays
The lessons lost due to national holidays are not recovered (except booked individual lessons). In case there are two national holidays within one week (Monday to Friday), one of these days will be recovered.

6. Registration and invoicing
After having formalised your enrolment you will receive an invoice. You may register on the website of CHE Buenos Aires or by email.

7. Payment method and conditions
7.1 The whole amount specified on the invoice for all services you booked has to be payed according to one of the payment methods accepted by us no later than four weeks before the course starts. The payment method you selected will be confirmed on the invoice by CHE Buenos Aires.
7.2 All costs that arise for payment have to be borne by the student.

8. Bookings on spot
Bookings on spot are possible subject to availability. The terms & conditions of CHE Buenos Aires apply correspondingly. However, in case of bookings on spot it is possible to pay in cash.

9. Starting date of course
The starting date of the course is specified in the enrolment form and on the invoice. It is relevant regarding paragraph 11 (refund of payments).

10. Cancellation of courses
Cancellations of courses have to reach CHE Buenos Aires in written form and by registered mail. Cancellations by email or by telephone cannot be accepted. Depending on the time of cancellation a refund of payments may occur.

11. Refund of payments
11.1 In case of cancellations that reach us no later than 28 days before the course starts, we fully refund your payments deducting a service fee of 100 U$.
11.2 In case of cancellations that reach us after this period but no later than 5 days before the course starts we charge you 50% of the amount for all services you booked. In case you have already effectuated payment the refund of your payment will occur within 30 days since the course beginning.
11.3 In case of cancellations that reach us later than 5 days before the course starts or in case of not showing up for course without cancellation we charge you the whole amount for the services you booked. In this case no refund of payments occurs.

12. Change of bookings
12.1 Changes of bookings no later than 28 days before the course starts can occur for a service fee of 45 U$.
12.2 In case of changes of bookings that reach us after this period but no later than 5 days before the course starts a service fee of 200 U$ will be charged.
12.3 Changes of bookings that reach us later than 5 days before the course starts cannot be accepted. There will not be any refund of payments.

13. Bookings of additional services
Bookings of additional services are always possible provided they constitute an added value for CHE Buenos Aires.

14. Postponement of courses
14.1 Individual classes can be postponed free of charge by telephone no later than 24 hours before the class starts. Suspension of classes that reach us after this time are charged fully and cannot be postponed.
14.2 Classes in groups of two can be postponed free of charge by telephone no later than 24 hours before the class starts provided both students agree. In case only one person shows up without the other person having duely suspended the class, the person who showed up is not charged an extra fee. However, the class is charged to the person who did not show up.
14.3 Suspension (postponement) of classes is not possible for group courses. Classes lost cannot be recovered.

15. Transfer of services
Services booked at CHE Buenos Aires are exclusively valid for the person(s) mentioned on the invoice and the services cannot be transfered to other persons.

16. Accomodation
16.1 Students are responsible for any damage they might cause to the accomodation arranged by CHE Buenos Aires. Be it because of intention or by negligence.
16.2 It is only possible to book homestay accomodation together with a course and only for the duration of the course.
16.3 The address and other details about the accomodation are not communicated until 10 days before the course starts.

17. Expulsion of students
17.1 CHE Buenos Aires reserves the right to cancel the services booked by a student in case he does not effectuate payment duly.
17.2 In case of severe violation of the rules of CHE Buenos Aires or in case of violation of a national law, the student has to abandon the school as well as the accomodation. In this case no claim for refunds is admited whatsoever.

18. Damages to third parties
CHE Buenos Aires is not responsible for damages to third parties that might be caused by students, no matter whether they were caused by intention or by negligence.

19. Liability
19.1 CHE Buenos Aires is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings of students, no matter whether they occured in the school building or at any other place.
19.2 CHE Buenos Aires is not responsible for damages that were caused by force majeure or any other reason not influenceable by us.

20. Copyright
CHE Buenos Aires reserves the right to use all pictures made during the stay of a student unless the student clearly expresses his objection upon his arrival.

21. Visa
It is the sole responsibility of the student to check whether a visa is required and to fufil the necessary requirements duly.

22. Insurance
It is the sole responsibility of the student to provide adequate insurance coverage especially of the following insurances: health insurance, accident insurance, travel insurance.

23. Final clause
The invalidity of certain clauses of the present terms & conditions does not cause the invalidity of the whole terms & conditions.

24. Applicable law
The applicable law is Argentine law. The jurisdiction is the city of Buenos Aires.
